I Need More

Have you ever listened to someone speak and found yourself wishing the conversation would keep going?

That’s how I felt listening to the latest Hello Homeopathy podcast featuring Camilla Sherr.

One minute Danielle and Darien were introducing their guest, and the next thing I knew the episode was over. An hour had passed, and I wasn’t ready for it to end.

I wanted more.

Not more information.

More conversation.

More stories.

More Camilla.

I first heard Camilla speak last year during a webinar on agri-homeopathy hosted by Canadians for Homeopathy. I wrote about it afterward because I was fascinated by the possibilities of applying homeopathic principles to plants, soil, and entire ecosystems.

This interview was different.

It felt like sitting around a kitchen table listening to someone share their life’s work, not as an expert speaking from a podium, but as a person sharing what they love.

And that is what I admire most about Camilla.

She is inspirational, grounded, and real.

She speaks with passion, but without ego.

She teaches generously.

She shares openly.

There is something refreshing about someone who has spent more than thirty years practicing homeopathy and still speaks about it with the excitement of someone who has just discovered it.

As I listened, I found myself smiling at the story of how she first discovered homeopathy. A chance conversation at a party led her to hear the words “like cures like,” and instead of walking away, she spent the rest of the evening asking questions. A few days later she was enrolled in homeopathy school.

That curiosity never left her.

In fact, one of my favourite moments came when she described reaching a point in practice where she realized she needed to learn more. She had reached the limits of what she knew and wanted to go further.

I understood that feeling immediately.

Every homeopath knows that feeling.

Every student knows that feeling.

The more we learn, the more we realize there is still so much to discover.

What stayed with me after the episode wasn’t a particular remedy or farming technique.

It was Camilla’s enthusiasm.

It was her willingness to keep asking questions.

It was her belief that homeopathy can help people, plants, soil, communities, and perhaps even the way we think about our relationship with the world around us.

She reminds us to stay curious.

To keep learning.

To pay attention.

To look beyond the obvious.

Danielle and Darien deserve credit as well. They have a wonderful way of creating conversations that feel natural and genuine. They ask thoughtful questions, give their guests room to speak, and allow the listener to feel part of the discussion.

By the end of the episode, I felt encouraged.

I felt inspired.

And I felt grateful.

Grateful for people like Camilla who continue to share their knowledge and experience so generously.

Grateful for conversations that remind us why we chose this path in the first place.

And grateful for the feeling that still shows up after all these years:

I need more.

More learning.

More curiosity.

More wonder.

And thankfully, homeopathy always seems to provide it.
